Niphean Warranty Policy

Effective Date: May 19, 2025

1. Purpose and Scope

  • This Warranty Policy applies to all products purchased directly from Niphean.com or authorized Niphean retailers. It outlines the conditions under which Niphean provides warranty services for products found to be defective due to materials or workmanship issues under normal personal use.

2. Warranty Period

  • 2.1 Paddle Boards
  • All inflatable stand-up paddle boards are covered by a 3-year warranty, effective from the date of confirmed delivery to the customer.
  • 2.2 Accessories and Components
  • Other products are covered under the following warranty periods, beginning on the delivery date:
  • Product Category Warranty Period
    Paddles (adjustable/fixed) 1 year
    Pumps (manual/electric) 1 year
    Safety leashes 6 months
    Fins (detachable/integrated) 6 months
    Carry bags / backpacks 6 months
    Bungee cords / D-rings 6 months
    Valve tools / storage straps 6 months
    Mount kits / repair kits 6 months
    Inflatable seats or attachments 6 months
  • 3. Warranty Coverage
  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under proper personal use. Coverage includes but is not limited to:
  • - Seam or valve leakage not caused by external damage
  • - Deck pad delamination
  • - Factory-related material or bonding failures
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • 4. Exclusions
  • This warranty does not apply to:
  • - Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • - Punctures, abrasion, or other damage from dragging or improper handling
  • - Damage caused by over-inflation, under-inflation, or excessive loading
  • - Cosmetic wear including fading, discoloration, or surface scratches
  • - Damage due to improper storage or exposure to extreme environments
  • - Products used for commercial, instructional, rental, or group activities
  • - Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or third-party repairs
  • - Damage caused by animals, fire, saltwater corrosion, or acts of nature
  • 5. Warranty Claims Procedure
  • To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact Niphean Customer Service at support@niphean.com with the following:
  • - Valid proof of purchase
  • - Product details (e.g., serial number, if available)
  • - A description and photographic evidence of the issue
  • - Full contact information and delivery address
  • Niphean reserves the right to request product return for further inspection. Return shipping costs may apply unless otherwise required by local law.
  • 6. Remedies
  • Upon validation of a warranty claim, Niphean may, at its discretion:
  • - Repair the defective product
  • - Replace the product with the same or a comparable model
  • - Issue a partial or full refund
  • The warranty period for any replacement or repaired product is either the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days from the replacement/repair date—whichever is longer.
  • This warranty limits Niphean’s liability to the original purchase price and excludes incidental or consequential damages, except where prohibited by applicable law.
  • 7. Legal Rights and Governing Law
  • This warranty is governed by the laws of the customer’s country or region of residence. Consumers may also have additional legal rights under local consumer protection laws, which shall prevail in the case of conflict with this policy.
  • 8. Severability
  • If any part of this policy is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
