Niphean Detachable Paddles

This is an excellent, strong, lightweight, durable, adjustable and detachable SUP Paddle. It works best on paddle boards to use while in a standing position. I tried it in an inflatable boat and perhaps it would've worked better if I detached one of the poles, but it works best from a standing position as it is nice and long and pushes the water more effectively that way, (as it is meant for). It even has a depth ruler built right on the side so you can see how deep the water is from top to bottom. It's definitely a great paddle to take along camping and to the beach etc., Two thumbs up!!

"I Don't Know" and "Not Me", carelessly chucking ISUP bags in the truck got one of our paddles broke. This paddle works great as a replacement. It's easily adjustable, as we have different sized riders on any given day. The green color stands out and even matched the board.
Out of the box the lock was very loose. Per instructions, I had to rotate it several times to get it to tighten. I was worried that I was going to break the lock as it felt flimsy but once I got it tighten properly it seems to be functioning like the other paddles. The longevity of the lock, with repeated adjustments, is my only concern but so far so good. Happy Paddling!

TLDR: heavy, the latch is hard to get right with litttle room for mess ups

I took this out on a boat and it is significantly better than the stock paddles, the longer paddle allows much more movement and I was able to go faster while using less effort.

However, there's a problem with the extension mechanism where if you don't torque it just right, it can be too loose and the head can fall out while paddling (happened to me, thankfully the short end does float). It is also a bit heavy and the metal matt surface is a bit hard to grip over hours of boating and can hurt the hand.

Still a great multi purpose buy!

This paddle is great. It's made of good stong plastic. It's lightweight.

I like that you can use it as one sided or have 2 paddles while in a small boat or canoe. It works great if you have a floaty to scoot around the water.

Made well and would make a great gift for boatlovers or for yourself if you e joy being on the water
